* Bankruptcy

* Wills and Trusts
* Chapter 7, Chapter 13, Foreclosures, Debt Negotiation

Bankruptcy can happen to anyone and under many different circumstances. Although filing for bankruptcy can be a frightening thought, it is important to know that you have resources available to help you. I devote my practice to helping individuals who are facing bankruptcy due to a number of factors, including:

* Job loss
* Subprime mortgage debt
* Illness
* Debt mismanagement
* Divorce and other family needs
* Bankruptcy and Foreclosures

If you are facing foreclosure on your home as a result of the subprime mortgage crisis, you may be considering personal bankruptcy as a way of keeping your home. You may be uncertain how the new bankruptcy laws apply and whether your home will be protected from liquidation in a Chapter 7 filing. You want a lawyer who fully understands the bankruptcy laws, who will help you determine your options and who will ensure that your interests are protected if you choose to file bankruptcy.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Liquidation vs Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Reorganization
I have experience providing counsel to clients who have decided to file for protection under Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 of the federal bankruptcy laws. I will help you determine whether a personal bankruptcy filing is the best way to avoid foreclosure or stop threatening letters and legal action. Contact me to set up a free initial consultation.

No surprises

Posted by norrisleenelson on 7/8/2009

Mr. Dutkiewicz ( I will refer to him as Chris ) was very professional throughout our entire bankruptcy. My wife and I had talked to three other Lawyers, and we knew Chris was the man for the job in about 10 minuets after meeting him. He told us what we needed to do, we discussed how we would do it, then we did it. No surprises. Very straight forward. Its not what they tell you, its what they don't tell you! I can't imagine not using him for our bankruptcy. Thanks Chris!

A GREAT EXPERIENCE IN A STRESSFUL TIME

Posted by mc_perry3g on 6/5/2009

Bankruptcy is a stressful and emotional time. He has such a great sense of humor, and was so knowledgeable in my complicated situation, it was such a relief to have him as my Attorney throughout this process. He is an amazing Attorney with an incredible amount of Integrity that is so hard to find. I would highly recommend him if you are considering Bankruptcy.

Honest & Decent

Mr Dutkiewicz is one (if not the only) of the nicest and most honest lawyers I have ever met. He made my miserable and sometimes scary Bankruptcy and Foreclosure experience much easier to deal with and dare I say even laughable. He is fairly priced and he walks you through the whole process from start to finish. I would highly recommend Mr Dutkiewicz to anybody who wants to be treated like a human being and not just a dollar sign. His staff is even very friendly and knowledgeable.

Don't Bother

He was very unorganized. He repeatedly submitted documents late to the courts. Numerous messages were required to receive a return call. He did not "offer straightforward counsel throughout the process” nor does he offer an “experienced hand to guide you through the process.” He failed to complete all the terms as agreed to during the initial consult. He was unwilling to correct a situation he created and it will affect me far longer than the bankruptcy itself. Find someone else.

I've never had a client named Joy Robinson, which is the name this gal is using on other sites to disparage my name and my services. I know who this is. This is a gal who had a simple bankruptcy. She is upset because she thinks it's my fault she was able to reaffirm her vehicle through bankruptcy. Did she lose her car? No. Did her bankruptcy get discharged? Yes. But she's mad that her payments don't get reported to her credit report. So she's taking the cover of a false name on the internet and complaining. Oh well, what can you do? We try our best here and I know that we sent her the document for her signature, but never received it signed. Most attorneys don't even consider signing a reaffirmation for a vehicle that is undervalued. Chris Dutkiewicz
